Anindya Novyan Bakrie was born in Jakarta in 1974. He earned his MBA from Stanford University, California, USA, in 2001.
In addition to his appointment at PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk, Anindya Novyan Bakrie has served as President Commissioner of VIVA and CEO of PT Bakrie Global Ventures. Previously, he held various positions President of Commissioner of PT Lativi Media Karya, PT Cakrawala Andalas Televisi, PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk, PT Intermedia Capital Tbk, PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk. He is also the founder of Bakrie Center Foundation (BCF).
He currently serves as Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) and Chairman of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), representing Indonesia. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Eisenhower Fellowship and serves on the Board of the International Council of Harvard University’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.
